New in the news Wow, what a game! My girl's basketball team played their hometown rivals this weekend. And to make it even more interesting, the game was to determine who moved on the league championship game. The game didn't start well as the girls were SO nervous. We were losing at halftime 6-9. But the girls finally relaxed in the third quarter and made a come-back. The teams were tied at the end of regulation so we went to the first overtime. Then, a second overtime. And a third overtime. And finally, a fourth overtime! Our team pulled it out in the end and now, we're playing for the championship. I was so drained at the end of the day that all I wanted to do was read more about New New just for you

She asked me what I was doing and I answered It is nice to get home again after a few days away in a foreign country. What was interesting to see whilst I was away was how much globalization is taking over the world and to a large degree how many shops and stores are exactly the same than in my own country. I can remember seeing so many Domain Register Us related advetisements and information plastered all over the place that are the exact same as at home just in another language. His silly character, Deputy Barney Fife brought many chuckles in our household. He was 81 went he died so he did have a long productive life and hopefully he was aware of the laughter that he had brought to many people. It's strange, but less than a week ago, the grocery clerk brought Don's name up to me as I checked out. We had a few words about how funny Don was in a movie...something about Mr. Chicken? Not sure of the name of the movie....but I hadn't thought about Don Knotts in a long time...so it was a strange coincidence.
Famous Canadians just for you I just got back from a couple weeks spent working out of town - I mean 'way out of town'! We were in the middle of nowhere, with gloomy evergreens covered in new-fallen snow surrounding us. After our fairly warm winter so far, we had been lulled into a false sense of security and of course a rude awakening was bound to come our way. Well Wednesday night it hit us - about 35 below, and suddenly we were back in a real winter. Hard on the vehicles and even harder on the guys working outside all night. But righands don't quit, and 35 below weather won't stop them. They just kept on slogging away in the cold, barely visible in the ice fog hovering in the Arctic air. After checking on their frigid progress, I hurried back to my trailer, got on my computer, and continued my search for Famous Canadians that had been stumping me for a while. At least I could dream that I was somewhere with a warm tropical sun beating down on me! Famous Canadians in the news

David-James Elliott on my mind haircut economics: I went nuts today and sort of chopped off probably close to 90% of my hair. And oh! What a riveting day it was! right.right.right. I need a life really badly. So bored. Blogs suck so bad. I can't believe I'm writing in this. I'm such a David-James Elliott hippocrite. Before I know it this will be filled with the gossip that runs through any school like the plague, killing all those whose tongue dares to taste a word of its foul intentions. David-James Elliott for the taking

defensive driving in the news My wife and I were watching a rented video last week (can't rememeber the name), and at one point in the movie, she said, 'Isn't that computer geek searching for the same thing you were?' Well, I didn't care for being compared with a 'geek,' but it was true! Right there on the screen was defensive driving , the same thing I had been looking for. And yes, I found a very good site for just that subject (I've linked it to the topic for your convenience). defensive driving

Domain Name Services in the news My dear blog reader...what a shitty few weeks I've had to say the least. If you've been reading my blog for a while you know that I have been very busy moving to our new house. This has been a great experience for the most part, don't get me wrong. Somehow between moving and getting settled down...my worst nightmare became reality. My mood swinged when I was confronted with NO Internet access. I called my ISP to check out what the !?xO@!? was happening! The person on the phone told me with a friendly voice that my notification of address change had not been received due to a error on their part. I asked what to do. Can you believe how upset I was to hear that I had to wait 4 weeks before they could connect me to the Net again. 4 WEEKS! Man are you kidding me! I told her that I need to have access a lot sooner than that. I told her I run a business on the Internet and I need access to look for information about Domain Name Services because that's what I do for Domain Name Services just for you

defensive driving for the taking It's amazing how the difference in decades between my parents and me can have such an impact on perspective. But if you think about it, people in the 60s and 70s had much different things to think about than what we now have to compute in our brains here in the 21st centruy. Things are so much faster, and things change so fast, that one can easily get lost in all this technology. But is it not nice when you go to a search engine and just go looking for something, anything, could be on, I don't know, defensive driving, and there is everything you need and could want to find every possible valuable resource on that topic. Yup, even if it is about just that, the internet is the most amazing thing ever and gives you the world at your fingertips. defensive driving in the news
